The Data Lake is the foundation of the Observability Cloud, where we send anything that looks like an event. That’s Logs, Metrics, and Traces for sure…but also tickets from Zendesk, customer information from Salesforce, or build information from Jenkins.

And because the Data Lake is based on AWS S3, and we compress data 10x on average making it insanely cheap to ingest data.
